The college section of Bimkam International School admits

1. Boys and Girls who have completed their primary education and passed the Common Entrance Examination organized by the government into its basic 7 classes (J.S.S 1)

2. Students who have completed their junior secondary education and passed Either junior secondary education and passed either junior NECO Examination, or other J.S.C.E organized by governments into Senior Secondary School (S.S. 1)

3. Students into J.S.S 2, J.S.S 3, S.S 2 and S.S 3 classes if such students come out with good grade in the screening exercise to be conducted by the school. All new students must obtain their forms before screening day.

Note: The categories of students mentioned earlier (J.S.S 1 and S.S 1) are also mandated to partake in the screening exercise before they can be admitted should have their names in the admission register and a number. This admission number is a second name every student in the school.

SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

The college operates three terms per session in line with the National Education Policy.

 

Each term, students are given two continuous assessment tests with 40%marks (20 mks per each C.A) while the examination will be conducted at the end the term with 60%. Promotion is determined by the annual score the average mark a student scores in each subject per session.

 

The school may give concessions to very few students to repeat a class but not more than once.

1. School uniform (2sets), available in the school.
2. A pair of laced black shoe, white socks and black belt.
3. Sportswear for P.E. and sports, available in the school.
4. Drawing board and drawing materials for Introductory Technology.
5. All recommended textbooks as found in the list of books including a dictionary
6. School cardigan, available in the school.
7. Mathematical instruments.
8. Four figure table and scientific calculator
9. Minimum of fourteen exercise books (obtainable in the school with the school logo).
10. Graph sheet and drawing sheet book.
11. School beret for female students (available in the school)

The students are prepared for the JSCE (NECO) and the Osun State JSCE.
The College was established, not necessarily to maximize profit but rather to offer qualitative education to the students. And to achieve this, the following fees are chargeable.

5. Transport fees are only for the students who apply for the school bus.
